The standard Alnico V bridge option produces a huge, deep low end, rich and throaty mids and warm, expressive highs. It retains plenty of dynamic response and cleans up effectively from the guitar's volume control, making it equally comfortable with classic rock tones and high-gain modern sounds.
For even greater output and tighter response, the Ceramic bridge option increases power, tightens the bass and slightly smooths the midrange while adding a brighter, more aggressive high-end cut. Despite these changes, it retains the core character and organic voice of the Nailbomb.
The Alnico V neck pickup delivers a woody, articulate and naturally bright clean tone. As gain is introduced, the response tightens considerably, producing a focused attack with excellent clarity for both rhythm and lead playing.
