The Adam ‘Nolly’ Getgood signature PolyPaf humbucker set combines the tradition and character of classic PAF-style pickups with the versatility, clarity and dynamic response demanded by modern players.

Built on the foundations of The Mule and Stormy Monday, the PolyPaf retains the exceptional dynamics, clarity and three-dimensional character of an authentic vintage-style humbucker while introducing a richer midrange, controlled low end and increased versatility for contemporary playing.

Featuring a custom offset wind of 42 AWG plain enamel wire, unoriented rough-cast Alnico V magnets and a unique combination of high-carbon steel slugs beneath the wound strings, the PolyPaf delivers exceptional articulation, string separation and a highly responsive playing feel.

The output is carefully balanced to provide generous dynamic headroom alongside strong midrange projection. Its open voice and tight, controlled bass keep every note focused, even with low tunings and heavier string gauges.

The bridge pickup delivers an exceptionally broad range of tones, from delicate cleans and vocal jazz-fusion leads to raunchy open chords and aggressive, high-gain riffing. Unlike some traditional PAF-style bridge pickups, it retains its rich midrange and firm low end when pushed with higher levels of gain.

The neck pickup is highly responsive and expressive, moving effortlessly between smooth, syrupy lead tones and a woody, percussive character when played harder. The result is an exceptionally dynamic pickup that keeps the player closely connected to every nuance of their performance.
