The Slow Hand set is a higher-output vintage Strat-style set with a modern edge, delivering a fatter, more driven tone and increased midrange presence compared with traditional vintage-spec coils.

Hand-bevelled Alnico V magnets and modern polysol wire produce stronger, darker mids and a fuller overall voice. Scatter-winding maintains clarity across the frequency range, while the higher DC resistance extends the bass response and provides a more controlled high-end.

Taking the spirit of the Irish Tour coils one step further, the Slow Hand has a distinctly British blues-rock character, capable of pushing an amplifier into that sweet just breaking up territory. High notes become increasingly fat and powerful as amp volume rises, while additional gain produces natural sustain and rich, crunchy tones.

Particularly well suited to maple-board Strats, the Slow Hand also cleans up beautifully when the volume is rolled back.
