STORMY MONDAY HUMBUCKER

Sweet, articulate vintage PAF tone with warm bass, hollow mids and smooth, expressive highs.

The Stormy Monday is an authentically vintage humbucker set delivering exceptional clarity, dynamics and touch sensitivity.

Completely hand-wound with vintage-correct 42 AWG plain enamel wire, the Stormy Monday features handcrafted butyrate bobbins, calibrated sand-cast Alnico II magnets and solid nickel-silver baseplates. The coils are wound asymmetrically, following the construction of early Patent Applied For (PAF) humbuckers, providing an extended frequency response and highly responsive playing feel.

The Stormy Monday faithfully captures the brighter character of '57 and '58-era PAFs, combining smooth natural sustain with excellent pick dynamics and string separation. Warm, full low notes are complemented by sweet, mellow highs and slightly scooped mids, producing a soft and percussive vintage voice.
