COBRA COIL SINGLE COIL SET

The Cobra Coil delivers high-gain single-coil performance without compromising dynamics, clarity or frequency response.

Inspired by the radical construction of the Black Hawk humbucker, the Cobra remains a true single-coil pickup. Each coil uses uniquely annealed, nickel-plated steel blades powered by custom-sized ceramic magnets, providing excellent string-to-string balance and efficient coupling to the windings.

Despite its single-coil design, the Cobra delivers output comparable to a powerful humbucker while retaining an exceptionally dynamic and expressive response. Bass notes track with precision and snap, the mids remain smooth yet punchy, and the articulate high end stays clear even as the volume is rolled back, producing surprisingly effective clean tones.

Designed as a direct replacement for standard-size Strat-style single coils, the Cobra is available in 6- and 7-string formats as a calibrated trio, or individually for HSS and HSH configurations.
