Crystal-clear highs, defined lows and vintage-hot output inspired by the raw energy of late-'70s rock.
The VHII humbucker combines exceptional clarity with the versatility and output of a vintage-hot design. Defined bass, crystal-clear highs and strong, even harmonic response make it equally capable of articulate clean tones, rich overdrive and high-gain performance.
Its uniquely asymmetrical coils maximise the output of 42 AWG plain enamel wire while retaining phenomenal clarity and string separation. A vintage-cut Alnico V magnet gives the VHII an open, dynamic and highly touch-sensitive feel.
Voiced to capture the raw energy and unmistakable brown sound of late-'70s rock, the VHII delivers strong, defined harmonic overtones, excellent pick attack and a huge, responsive sound. Even under extreme amounts of preamp gain, notes remain articulate and well separated.
The coil design also makes the VHII particularly versatile for split and parallel wiring options, and it works exceptionally well with rotary tone selectors.
Funk, Garage, Classic Rock, Heavy Rock and Fusion.
Extremely well suited to double-cut solid-body and bolt-on neck guitars, while equally at home in glued-neck and single-cut instruments. Also works well in extended-range guitars.
