IMPORTANT COMPATIBILITY NOTE

For the Free-Way 6-Way switching system to function correctly, the humbuckers must have 4-conductor wiring and the correct magnetic polarity configuration.

The two humbuckers must have matching magnetic orientation:

NS – NS
or
SN – SN

This ensures the intended pickup combinations maintain the correct phase relationship when using the additional coil combinations.

Pickup compatibility and magnetic polarity should be checked before installation.
