THE OFTEN-OVERLOOKED 470K RESISTOR
A small but important detail when combining humbuckers with a single-coil pickup.
The 470K resistor helps the single-coil pickup see an effective load closer to 250K, while the humbuckers retain the benefits of the 500K potentiometer.
This helps balance the brightness of the single-coil pickup without compromising the clarity and openness of the humbuckers.

SERIES / PARALLEL SWITCHING
Series mode provides the full output, warmth, and thickness associated with a conventional humbucker.
Parallel mode produces a cleaner, brighter, and more open response while retaining hum-cancelling operation.
With two independent DPDT switches, each humbucker can be configured individually, providing additional tonal combinations beyond the standard 5-way switching.
