Series / Parallel Pickup Switching

Position 1 - Bridge Humbucker

• Bridge in Series - Full, thick and high-output humbucker tone

• Bridge in Parallel - Cleaner, brighter and more open tone

Position 2 - Bridge + Neck

• Both in Series - Full and powerful combined humbucker tone

• Bridge Series + Neck Parallel

• Bridge Parallel + Neck Series

• Both in Parallel - Cleaner, more articulate combined tone

Position 3 - Neck Humbucker

• Neck in Series - Warm, thick and full humbucker tone

• Neck in Parallel - Cleaner, brighter and more articulate tone

The two push-pull pots provide independent control over each pickup:

• Volume Push-Pull - Neck pickup Series / Parallel

• Tone Push-Pull - Bridge pickup Series / Parallel

This gives a total of 8 possible pickup configurations, combining the traditional 3-way switching with independent Series / Parallel control for both humbuckers.
The push-pull pots allow the neck and bridge humbuckers to switch between series and parallel wiring.

The volume push-pull controls the neck pickup, while the tone push-pull controls the bridge pickup.

Series mode is the normal humbucker mode, delivering a fuller, thicker and higher-output tone with increased midrange and stronger sustain.

Parallel mode produces a cleaner, more open and articulate tone with reduced output and a character closer to a single-coil response. Unlike coil-splitting, parallel mode retains hum-cancelling operation, making it less susceptible to unwanted noise when gain is engaged.

This provides additional tonal versatility without changing the pickups themselves.
