The Halcyon is a high-output signature humbucker set developed with Spiritbox guitarist Mike Stringer, designed to deliver massive modern tones, exceptional clarity and consistent string-to-string response across low tunings.
The bridge pickup uses a twin-blade design and three custom-sized ceramic magnets to provide exceptional string balance while tightly controlling the low end. Its high-output wind delivers an aggressive attack, powerful midrange and substantial low-end weight, giving single-note riffs impressive thickness while keeping ultra-low chugs tight and articulate.
The neck pickup uses a more moderate wind paired with an Alnico 5 magnet, providing greater dynamic headroom and a woody, bright character without becoming harsh. Its articulate response works particularly well for clean and ambient tones, while combining naturally with the bridge pickup for distinctive modern clean sounds.
The twin-blade construction provides even string-to-string balance regardless of string gauge or tuning and is particularly practical for multi-scale instruments. Both pickups are also designed to deliver highly effective coil-split and parallel tones, providing additional tonal flexibility beyond their primary high-output voices.
The Halcyon set is particularly suited to players working in heavily detuned environments who require the power and immediate response of a high-output pickup while retaining the clarity and consistency needed to remain defined within dense mixes.
