MOTHER'S MILK SINGLE COIL SET

Mother's Milk is a mid-'60s voiced Strat-style single coil set designed to deliver bright, punchy tone with exceptional snap, woody mids and a crisp, responsive high end.

The set uses larger-diameter Alnico V magnetic rods paired with scatter-wound 42 AWG plain enamel coils. This combination produces a tight, articulate low end with clear, full highs that retain definition under overdrive without becoming thin or brittle.

Hand-bevelled magnets and scatter-winding contribute to the pickup's dynamic response and distinctive woody character. The midrange has a slightly hollow, gritty quality with more edge than Heavy Formvar-wound coils, giving Mother's Milk a crisp and expressive clean voice that responds naturally to picking dynamics and amplifier gain.

The bridge pickup is wound slightly hotter to provide improved balance across the set, while vintage-style cloth push-back hookup wire is fitted as standard. The middle pickup is available in either stock or RW/RP polarity, with the RW/RP configuration providing hum-cancelling operation in the combined pickup positions.
